My Adoption Story

I'm looking for my sister, She was born at Saint Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY I believe on January 10, 1970 - I could have the wrong day & it could be 1971. My mother went through Catholic Family Services on Lake Ave in Albany, NY. My Mother was married but not living with my father at the time. My mother also asked that she keep the first name "Christina" after the adoption & that she never knows she was adopted, that was so she would never feel abandoned or unwanted.

Searching for Family

But during my years of search for her, I have learned that CFS shipped babies to "other" states to be adopted. I am her older sister & we have always known about her.

Reunion Goal

I know my mother would love to know that at least she is alive & happy & meet her if she wanted that. It was not an adoption that my mother wanted (rather not go into details here) but she has never stopped loving her & wondering how she was.
